“You come from dust, you return to dust. That’s why I don’t dust. It could be someone I know”

“You come from dust, and you will return to dust. That’s why I don’t dust. It could be someone I know!” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. The original “from dust to dust” saying is from the Bible, in both Genesis 3:19 and Ecclesiastes 3:20.

“You are dust and you will return to dust. That’s why I don’t dust. It could be someone I know” was posted on Twitter by Mike Bianchi (and others) on November 26, 2018. The saying possibly originated on an image.
