“People who use selfie sticks really need to have a good long look at themselves… #selfiepricks #itsthewayitellem” was posted on Twitter by Abi Roberts on May 28, 2016. Roberts told the joke at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2016, but it doesn’t appear that Roberts originated the joke.
