Twitter has sought to address online hate, as expressed in “mean tweets.” This has nothing to do with the terms “mean,” “median” and “mode,” but there are jokes.
“‘mean tweets’ implies the existence of ‘median tweets’ and ‘mode tweets’” was posted on Twitter by Clear and Present Banger on July 9, 2020. “Mean tweets imply the existence of median tweets and mode tweets” was posted on Twitter by Ostensibly Chris on November 19, 2022.
