Many people clap when their plane lands and it’s the end of a safe flight. Experienced travelers often cringe at the clapping. However, in 2023 and 2024, Boeing had several highly publicized manufacturing concerns with its planes, and the landing applause was turned into a joke.

In light of all the Boeing fiasco and drama I’d just like to inform you this is why people always clap when the plane lands in South Asian or Arab countries. I mean also bc we’re nice but truly bc the plane made it and it’s usually a bumpy landing
