“Hydrate to dominate”

“Hydrate to dominate” (or “hydrate 2 dominate”) is a slogan to remind people—especially athletes—to drink more water. “Hydrate to dominate!” has been cited in print since at least 2003 and is of unknown authorship.

With the way most powerlifters eat and their lifestyle, the powerlifter’s body can build up a nice variety of toxins, at this time I put Garry through a comprehensive cleanse…

Hydrate To Dominate
Let’s not forget his hydration level. With his increased caloric intake and new protein demands we had to get Garry’s water intake much higher. The three to four liters a day that we were taking in prior to his last show would not cut it now. We had to get him in the range of six to eight liters day in and day out.

Other issues for cramps….hydrate to dominate…drink water as a matter of habit, don’t drink junk unless it is the aforementioned cafe noir and then be strategic about your intake.

Hydrate to dominate

I’m going to sidestep from my usual ramblings of cocktails, liquor and history to discuss what is probably the best piece of advice I’ve ever received: Hydrate to dominate.
Hydrate before, during AND after you go out cocktailing on the town.

Sunscreen and a refillable plastic water bottle. Seriously. Nothing will bring down your party vibe like a serious case of sunstroke. And when you’re getting sweaty busting shapes in the hot Californian sun all day, make sure you take heed of that old adage ‘hydrate to dominate’. You’ve been warned.
