Didn’t Earn It (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or DEI backronym)

“Didn’t Earn It” (a backronym or back acronym of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, or DEI) has been printed on many images. The backronym reflects a belief that DEI rewards people based on a status, not on merit.

“If you are DEI you didn’t earn it” was posted on X/Twitter by Brandon Hillard on April 17, 2003. “DEI=Didn’t Earn It” was posted on X/Twitter by Unsanctimoniously MAGA on May 31, 2023. “‘DEI’ stands for ‘Didn’t Earn It’” was posted on X/Twitter by Ray Kocor on July 6, 2023.

“Whoever came up with ‘Didn’t Earn It’ as the description of DEI might have saved the world. Normally, the clever alternative names people use to mock the other side’s policy are nothing but grin-worthy. This one could collapse the whole racist system. It’s that strong” was posted on X/Twitter by Scott Adams on March 21, 2024.

Wikipedia: Diversity, equity and inclusion
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (usually abbreviated DEI) are organizational frameworks which seek to promote “the fair treatment and full participation of all people”, particularly groups “who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination” on the basis of identity or disability. These three notions (diversity, equity, and inclusion) together represent “three closely linked values” which organizations seek to institutionalize through DEI frameworks.

“DEI” stands for “Didn’t Earn It.” The federal government has backed many programs that benefit people of color for decades. Time to level the playing field. Recently, I applied for an SBA $10k pandemic giveaway and told I wouldn’t receive the benefit because I “lived in the wrong zipcode.”

DEI stands for “Didn’t Earn It” which is why someone who doesn’t know what a woman is can become a justice on our highest court and an adulterer who slicked Willie Brown’s willie can become VP. Let’s not forget FJB’s wise selection of Sam Brinton and Rachel Levine, also.

While other states see trying to end this DEI non sense, these #Newjersey Dem legislators put out this insane 46 PAGE BILL!
It establishes a Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DDEI) as a principal department within the Executive Branch, specifies a commissioner…  x.com/wakeupnj/statu…
