“Bottle of Pearl, please!” (Pearl Beer slogan)

“A bottle of Pearl, please!” has been part of Pearl Beer’s advertising since 1937. Another famous Pearl Beer slogan is “From the country of 1100 springs.” The Pearl Brewery was established in San Antonio in 1883.
Wikipedia: Pearl Brewing Company
The Pearl Brewing Company also known as the Pearl Brewery (Pearl) was an American brewery, established in 1883 in San Antonio, Texas. In 1985, Pearl’s parent company purchased the Pabst Brewing Company and assumed the Pabst name. In 1999, the Pabst Brewing Company began transferring its production to Miller Brewing, on a contract basis, and closing all of its breweries. Pearl beer is still in production at Miller’s Ft. Worth, Texas facility, but the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio was closed in 2001. Since then, the former brewery was purchased by Silver Ventures, Inc., which has made the property the crown jewel in revitalization efforts of northern downtown San Antonio.
20 August 1937, Corpus Christi (TX) Times, pg. 3, col. 1 ad:
“For Goodness Sake,
Bottle of Pearl, please!”

“And I know because I have tried them all. I have tried beers that cost more, all brands, all brews, and I always come back to Pearl—for Pearl gives me everything!”
PEARL is peppy, refreshing, it has deep, rich, hoppy flavor, it has a creamy head; it has a fine refreshing mellowness.
“A bottle of Pearl, please” say Texans.

This sud’s for you, San Antonio.
The giant, effervescent beer can atop a building at the Pearl Brewery has been redesigned and now is illuminated at night, complete with a neon beer bubble that floats above the can and appears to pop into the darkness.
Developers and the designer who created the beer can sign hope the shining beer beacon will become a nostalgic landmark for San Antonio.
