“You can’t take something off the Internet, It’s like taking pee out of a pool”

It’s often said that you can’t take something off the internet. A memorable line was said in the American television sitcom NewsRadio, on the episode “Physical Graffiti” that aired on March 24, 1996:

“You can’t take something off the internet. That’s like trying to take pee out of a swimming pool. Once it’s in there, it’s in there.”
