The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic led to “social distancing.” “Social disdancing” (social distancing + dancing)—also spelled “disDancing”—became popular. This is dancing at a proper social distance from another, or dancing by one’s self while isolated in quarantine. 
 
“Social DisDancing” was posted on Twitter by Manuel C. Widmer on March 9, 2020. “#SocialDisDancing” was posted on Twitter by Elizabeth Monzingo on March 12, 2020.
 
The term had briefly been used earlier. “Even Fonzworth Bentley is disdancing (distancing himself through dancing) from Kanye” was posted on Twitter by MKupperman on April 25, 2018.
