A “turketarian” or “turkeytarian” is someone who eats turkey.  “Turkeytarian” was posted on Twitter on November 26, 2009. “I’m sort of.. a turketarian..? XD I only eat turkey products. OCCASIONALLY chicken” was posted on Twitter on December 10, 2009.
   
The Butterball company began airing “turketarian” television commercials in 2013.

Isn’t Turketarian like the best word ever? Turketarian. Why isn’t this in the dictionary already? I think it’s pretty obvious what it means, right? If you can’t figure it out, look at the photo above, say it out loud “turk-e-tar-ian” and then nod your head and say “ahh.” One who likes turkey. Like a lot a lot of turkey.
