“You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive”
“You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many gift items, such as T-shirts, bumper stickers and posters. “And then comes the wonderous (sic) day when you get your own license and you learn to swear on your own” was cited in print in 1977. “You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive” appears to have been cited in print in 1987.
