The Village (airplane coach seating section)
Reader’s Digest (November 2010) did a short article on airline lingo and included this definition:
”Working the village: Working in coach.”
In 2014, one “flight attendant’s dictionary” article included this under the headline, “Terms I’ve never used, but I’m told exist.” The term “working the village” appears in several airline lexicon articles, but does not appear on its own. Actual flight attendant use of “the village” remains questionable.
