Hotels often provide complimentary toiletries, such as body wash, shampoo and soap. It’s expected that hotel guests can take them home, but many guests feel guilty about doing that.

Do you take the little hotel shampoos/shower gels home?
My work put me up in a proper fancy hotel last week, wasted on me to be honest, but there was loads of shampoo and shower gel left in the little bottles and they’d only get wasted so I brought them home. My wife thinks it was a bit weird. Surely it’s to be expected?

There’s nothing wrong with packing leftover toiletries that has been paid for, when checking out of a hotel . It’s yours, feel free to take it…👍🏼
