“Posed nude for an art class today. They didn’t ask me to. I think they were making ceramic bowls”

Many people believe it’s an honor to be asked to pose nude for an art class, reflecting that other people admire the poser’s body. A joke about this reveals in the second sentence that the poser wasn’t asked to pose, however.

I think they’re making ceramic bowls” was posted on X/Twitter by Matt Fernandez on March 18, 2013, and this received over 2,600 likes. “I posed nude for an art class today. They didn’t ask me to. I think they were making ceramic bowls” was posted on Facebook by Chelsea Rae on October 23, 2013.
