Some people get tired of trick-or-treaters, and turn their house lights off. There’s a joke about this, with a twist.

Sod the ships, my lighthouse, my rules” was posted on X/Twitter by Robert Wilkinson on October 23, 2024.
 
The joke’s twist is that what was turned off was the light in a lighthouse. “My lighthouse, my rules” is a variation of “my life, my rules.”
