“I filled up my tank with petrol this morning. Now, all my goldfish are dead”

“I filled up my tank with petrol this morning. Now, all my goldfish are dead” was posted on Twitter by Tina Blake on January 20, 2012. “I filled up my tank with petrol this morning” implies the gas tank of a car. However, the next line, with “goldfish,” shows that it’s an aquarium tank. The surprise second line is called a paraprosdokian.
