Nah, it’s because someone tried to use Free Breakfast to attract business class customers in the go and it got so popular everyone else caught on. Now for hotels that are heavily targeting that demographic, it’s an industry standard.
We don’t actually want the breakfast to speed everyone up and out. That’s what we have check out times and late departure/half day fees
