Flatbush Frolic Blends the Best
Of Urban Flair and a County Fair

Yesterday was a day for flea market enthusiasts on Cortelyou Road in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. Hundreds of people from all over the city turned out for the "Flatbush Frolic," a six-hour street festival that combined the survival tactic of urban living with the gaiety of a country fair.

Tables and booths lined the road from East 17th Street to Coney Island Avenue offering food that would please any gourmet and items that would arouse the passion of even the most seasoned bargain hunter.
