Oh, and there’s a rock club that opened up here in Greensboro a few months ago called “The Flying Anvil”, and one of the pieces of art hanging up for sale is a diptych called “Buy art, not drugs (or art about drugs)”. The left half of the piece (the images are stippled onto softwood) shows a man purchasing heroin in a ziploc bag, and is titled “The only job left in Greensboro.” The right half of the artwork shows the same man shooting up, and is titled “Sadboro”.

At the airport again this morning, dude is wearing a shirt that says “Buy art, not cocaine.” While wearing a marching band style hat. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is some wonderful New Orleans energy.
