On September 17, the New York Transit Museum hosts its 12th Annual Bus Festival, which features more than a dozen vintage city buses, dating from 1917 to the 1980s. This year's festival includes "Betsy," a double-decker bus from the Fifth Avenue Coach Company which ran from 1931 to 1953. In addition, the event features guided tours of the fleet, live musical entertainment, hands-on children's workshops, story-telling, and complimentary rides around historic Brooklyn Heights on a horse-drawn omnibus.

The festival is held in Columbus Park on Court Street near Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights. It runs from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m.
