Big Ugly Import Car Killer (Buick backronymic nickname)

Buick is a luxury vehicle brand of General Motors that began in 1899. Buick has been given the backronym (back acronym) of “Big Ugly Import Car Killer” since at least 1996. The backronym “Big Ugly Indestructible Car Killer” has also been cited in print since at least 1996.
