Snowmageddon (snow + Armageddon)

A similar term to “snowmageddon” is “snowpocalypse” (snow + apocalypse). “Gobblegeddon” (gobble + Armageddon) is when a “snowmageddon” occurs during the week of Thanksgiving.

Summary:
