“It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas”

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” (1951) is a Christmas song written by Meredith Wilson (1902-1984). “It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas” (about Christmas chopping) is a saying that has been printed on many images.

“It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas” was printed in the Philadelphia (PA) Inquirer on December 21, 1989. “It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas?” was printed in the Tri-City Herald (Pasco, WA) on November 19, 1995. “It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas—all 12 days’ worth” was printed in the Press & Sun-Bulletin (Binghamton, NY) on November 20, 1998. “♫ It’s beginning to cost a lot like Christmas. Every where I shop…♫” was posted on Twitter by Dapper Snappers on December 18, 2008.

“Pringles got into my carpet. It’s beginning to look a lot like crisp mush” is another joke on the Christmas song.

A new holiday song from my brand new holiday album for 2018 (coming VERY soon!). Another parody of a holiday classic, lamenting and protesting consumerism replacing thanksgiving, and that stain on society known as Black Friday.
