“If you’re looking for a sign to drink tonight, this is it” is a jocular drinking saying that has been printed on many images, especially bar and restaurant signs.
 
“If you’re looking for a sign to have drink; this is it” was posted on Twitter by blazedqueen on March 6, 2016. “If you were looking for a sign, this is it. Go drink that beer!” was posted on Twitter by Sunriver Brewing on June 30, 2017.
 
The saying went viral in February 2019. “If you’re looking for a sign to drink tonight, this is it” was posted on Twitter by Johnathan Mccurry (and many others) on February 28, 2019.
