“I will not be seen until I have my CAFFEINE” (shown on a sign) was posted on Facebook by Liz’s Place on January 21, 2013. “I WILL NOT BE SEEN, UNTIL I HAVE MY CAFFEINE” (shown on a sign) was posted on Facebook by CoffeeNate.com on March 24, 2014. The saying was popularized by these signs.

Above, a 1934 plaque from the Big Apple Night Club at West 135th Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem. Discarded as trash in 2006. Now a Popeyes fast food restaurant on Google Maps.
