To take from the Jackson/Buffet song - It’s somebody’s birthday somewhere…” was cited in 2008. “I just ate two giant pieces of cake. Hey, it’s somebody’s birthday somewhere” was cited on Twitter in 2010.
Similar sayings include “It’s five o’clock somewhere” (it’s time for an alcoholic drink), “It’s happy hour somewhere,” “Putting vodka in my juice, because it’s Russia somewhere” and “It’s breakfast time somewhere” (it’s time to eat breakfast foods, such as cereal).

Birthday cake - We have a bakery in town that does a really nice cream cheese icing. I also like the traditional “too sweet, can’t eat it very often” birthday cake icing. It is something my co-workers & I crave now and then. To take from the Jackson/Buffet song - It’s somebody’s birthday somewhere…
