Wossamotta U or Whatsamatta U (fictional university)

“Whatsamatta” is dialect speech for “what’s the matter.” “Whatsamatta witcha?” was cited in 1925 in the comic strip Reg’lar Fellers by Gene Byrnes (1889-1974); Byrnes would frequently use “whatsamatta.” “WHATSAMATTA U? KE.4017 FOR A REAL FLING AT MOOLA” was a classified newspaper advertisement in 1954.

“Wossamotta U” was the jocular name for a university on The Bullwinkle Show television cartoon in 1964. “Wossamotta U” or “Whatsamatta U” is still sometimes used as a jocular name of a university.

Wikipedia: Wossamotta U
Wossamotta U — a mondegreen of “what’s the matter [with] you” — is the ninth story arc from the fifth season of Rocky and Bullwinkle (originally titled The Bullwinkle Show). It was broadcast on the NBC network during the 1963–1964 television season.

Summary
When two scouts see Bullwinkle tossing Rocky, R&B are offered scholarships to Wossamotta U., a school with a dreadful football record. Bullwinkle’s passing skills enable Wossamotta to consistently win, so Boris concocts the fiendish plan of having his team of brutal thugs and murderers, the Mud City Manglers (coached by Fearless Leader), compete—disguised as girls. Since the latter are certain to lose, Boris can safely bet the Pottsylvania treasury on their winning, and rake in a fortune at 200:1 odds. The Big Game is played following Civil War (“Tha’s War between the States!”) battle plans, and needless to say, Our Heroes win.
