“Every chef on TV: Today I’m going to show you how to make something with simple ingredients everyone has…”

A popular meme shows a recipe that “every chef on TV” gives, containing “simple ingredients everyone has in their pantry.” The joke is that the ingredients are not so simple. This was posted on X/Twitter by American author Susan Archer on April 3, 2020:

“every chef right now: Today I’m going to show you how to make something simple with ingredients everyone has in their pantry, since you can’t go to the store. I’m starting with Madagascar vanilla, hemp milk, and a single feather from a dodo bird.”

“Every chef on TV” (instead of “every chef right now”) was posted on X/Twitter by ashley albini on April 27, 2021. This mostly means the television programs on the Food Network.

“Since you can’t go to the store,” written in April 2020, refers to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
