“Tis the season to be freezin’”
“‘Tis the season to be freezin’” is a winter saying that has been printed on many images. “Tis the season to be freezin’” was printed in the Casa Grande (AZ) Dispatch in September 1967 in an advertisement for a freezer. “‘Tis the season to be freezin’” was the title of a news article in the Ottawa (ON) Citizen in December 1967, and “‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE FREEZIN’” was the title of a Christmas poem in the Colorado Springs (CO) Gazette Telegraph a few days later.
Authorship of the line is unknown.
