“You know you’re in a bear market when people are losing money but feeling pretty good about it”

“You know you’re in a bear market when people are losing money but feeling pretty good about it.—Wall Street Adage” has been on the “Food for thought” section on the upper right hand corner of the screen on the website 24hGold. The article “The Fed’s Dilemma,” by Doug Noland, on April 8, 2005 called this an “old adage,” but it’s not clear what the origin is or how old it is.
