That was the day the delightful Kim Kardashian posted an “inspirational” quote on Snapchat: “You can’t have a million-dollar dream with a minimum-wage work ethic.” What on earth would she know about a minimum-wage work ethic?

The quote isn’t about wages… it’s about work ethic. And it’s not just meant monetary… but your dreams period. Not every million dollar dream is about money, anymore than money is always the definition of “success”.

This is about ambition, drive. I know… I wrote it. I grew up minimum wage… blue collar hard working family. They made minimum wage, but their work ethic was a million dollars. They no longer earn minimum wage, nor were millions of dollars actually their million dollar dream.

Hey, I wrote this poor, struggling with a newborn. But my writing is always left to the readers interpretation. This quote means a million different things to a million different people. My million dollar dream was simply a better life for my family.💯❤️

Was the only one “they” meant to deliver. 💯❤️ Written years ago… from words they first used to motivate themselves. Only, not for money. Their million dollar dream…? Was family, community, and leaving a positive impact on this world. Again, it’s all interpretation.

What if I told you, not every million dollar dream is about money? What if I told you that it’s not the quote, but your interpretation of the quote? That maybe their million dollar dream was simply to make a positive impact on the world.? Perspective
