"Why don't blondes like making…

When a recipe states “Add 8 cups of water,” it usually meals to add that to a bowl or to a pitcher. A “dumb blonde” joke about Jell-O was posted on the newsgroup rec.humor on September 12, 1991:

Q: Why don’t blondes eat Jell-O?
A: They can’t fit two cups of water in the little boxes.

A similar “dumb blonde” joke about Kool-Aid was published in The Tennessean (Nashville, TN) on October 13, 1991:

Q: Why don’t dumb blondes like to make Kool-Aid?
A: They can’t fit eight cups of water in that little package.
