“Where We Go One, We Go All” (#WWG1WGA)
[USAGE NOTE: This dictionary page is an etymology of the term “WWG1WGA.” It does not reflect any opinion on any political philosophy.]
“Where We Go One, We Go All” (WWG1WGA) is a motto/slogan that has been printed on many images. The saying is similar to the Latin Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno, made famous in the Alexandre Dumas novel The Three Musketeers (1844) as “All for one, and one for all.”
The 1911 brigantine rigged sailing ship Eye of the Wind has a bell with the inscription, “WHERE WE GO ONE, WE GO ALL.” It is sometimes said—incorrectly—that the bell is from John F. Kennedy‘s yacht, specifically, Honey Fitz.
Eye of the Wind was used in the Ridley Scott-directed film White Squall (1996), where the ship was called Albatross. Captain Christopher Sheldon (played by Jeff Bridges) says in the film, “If we don’t have order, we have nothing. Where we go one, we go all.”
“Where We Go One, We Go All” (#WWG1WGA) was used by the political followers of QAnon in 2018. “#WWG1WGA” had been posted on Twitter by C.J. Underwood on November 6, 2014. “He also said, ‘Where we go one, we go all.’ What Zach is putting out about Space X is very different from Q post” was posted on Twitter by Qanon.app on January 9, 2018. “#WRWYQ #FG&C #MAGA #MolonLabe #FREEDOM #liberty #StandUpPatriots #OpenTheirEyes #TweetStormDay #SideBySide #FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT #WWG1WGA” was posted on Twitter by Wake Up America on January 16, 2018.
Wikipedia: Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno
Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno is a Latin phrase that means One for all, all for one. It is the unofficial motto of Switzerland. A French version, Un pour tous, tous pour un, was made famous by Alexandre Dumas in the 1844 novel The Three Musketeers.
Wikipedia: White Squall (film)
White Squall is a 1996 American disaster survival film directed by Ridley Scott. It is a coming of age film in which a group of high school and college age teenagers sign up for several months of training aboard a sail ship, a brigantine, and travel around half the globe when suddenly they are challenged by a severe storm. The film stars Jeff Bridges in the role of the captain, called “Skipper”, his wife, played by Caroline Goodall, and a supporting cast portraying a group of nearly a dozen student sailors.
The film was based on the 1962 book The Last Voyage of the Albatross by Charles Gieg Jr. and Felix Sutton.

The day he leaves, Frank apologizes to Skipper for the incident on the boat and is given a farewell by Gil, who gets the courage to climb up the ropes to ring the bell for Frank, which symbolizes ‘Where we go one, we go all’.

Reception
(...)
Decades after White Squall‘s release, believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory have developed an affinity for the film because its original trailer happens to emphasize several phrases (“Where we go one, we go all,” “Anonymous,” and “The calm before the storm”) which feature prominently in the conspiracy’s lore.

Quotes
Captain Christopher Sheldon: If we don’t have order, we have nothing. Where we go one, we go all.
[Chuck Talking to Captain Sheldon during the Trial]
Chuck: You told us where we go one we go all, well we believed you, we lived by it, Sir. And now your saying where you go we can’t follow.
Eye of the Wind
The ship’s bell of the Eye of the Wind serves as an acoustic signal during foggy weather, and it also indicates the lenght of the chain during an anchoring manoeuver. In the old days the bell was also used to indicate the time of day. In one scene of the Hollywood-movie “White Squall” this bell with its engraving WHERE WE GO ONE - WE GO ALL plays an important role. In the audio file you hear the spoken words “Where we go one - we go all” and two double-chimes of the bell. Striking the bell that way means either 2 o’clock, 6 o’clock or 10 o’clock. It also indicates that the shift for the watch in command is halfway over. The audio file has a lenght of approximately five seconds. Download the audio files for free just by clicking on the particular image.

Bell from the Honey Fitz? Not so much.
So, my mother, deep into the Qult, sends me this:
“Reminds me of JFK’s boat’s (Honey Fitz)
WHERE WE GO ONE WE GO ALL”
Apparently, this has been popular as of late, Qultists claiming this bell was on JFK’s boat, the Honey Fitz. It didn’t take long to figure out where that bell came from and it most certainly wasn’t the Honey Fitz. In fact, the Honey Fitz never belonged to JFK. This is the Honey Fitz, a motor yacht:
I couldn’t find a picture of a bell on it and there are lots of detailed pictures of it. The Honey Fitz, not it’s original name, was built in 1931 and, once the Coast Guard obtained it, it for used by whomever was president at the time.

The bell in the picture belongs to a tall ship called the Eye of the Wind built in 1911. Here’s a better picture of the bell from the Eye of the Wind:

The QAnon universe is sprawling and deep, with layer upon layer of context, acronyms, characters, and shorthand to learn. The “castle” is the White House. “Crumbs” are clues. CBTS stands for “calm before the storm,” and WWG1WGA stands for “Where we go one, we go all,” which has become an expression of solidarity among Q followers. (Both of these phrases, oddly, are used in the trailer for the 1996 Ridley Scott film White Squall—watch it on YouTube, and you’ll see that the comments section is flooded with pro-Q sentiment.)

Michael Flynn posts video featuring QAnon slogans

Regarding the video, Flynn lawyer Sidney Powell told the Washington Examiner that Flynn “wanted to encourage people to think about being a citizen,” and claimed the phrase “Where we go one, we go all” was first engraved on a bell on one of President John F. Kennedy’s sailboats.
Experts told CNN that QAnon believers often misattribute the quote to Kennedy’s boat because “Q”—a supposed government insider who posts online clues about the “deep state”—once said it came from Kennedy. It appears to originate from the 1996 survival film “White Squall.”

USE OF A QANON PHRASE
At the close of the series, (Nicholas—ed.) Mattson includes the acronym “WWG1WGA,” which stands for “where we go one, we go all.”
The acronym has been used widely by followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory, which has been spreading online since about 2017, according to a report from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, an extremism think tank.
Mattson told New Times he appreciates the phrase because of its relation to President John F. Kennedy, while adding that he “doesn’t subscribe” to QAnon.
However, there’s no evidence linking the phrase to Kennedy or a bell on the president’s boat, a belief some QAnon followers hold, according to CNN.
