Turtle soup has a joke:
 
“What’s the slowest soup a chef can prepare?”
“Turtle soup.”
 
The joke appeared in “MIGHTY FUNNY’S Mini Jokes” on The Mini Page by Betty Debnam, featured in many newspapers and magazines. Two slightly different versions of the joke were printed in October 2003 and in May 2004.
 
“I don’t eat snails—I prefer fast food” and “Why don’t lions like fast food?” are two other fast/slow food animal jokes.
