“What do you call a woman who trades sex for spaghetti?”/“A pastatute.”

“Pastatute” (pasta + prostitute) has been used in several jokes. “I caught (Tonight Show host Johnny—ed.) Carson’s monologue last night…it was one of his better ones. I’m still chuckling over this one: He related a news story about a woman somewhere (US) who was arrested for soliciting ‘sexual favors’...her price was, get this, spaghetti dinners. Well, OK, de gustibus and all that, but Carson asked:  ‘Does that make her a pastatute?’” was posted on the newsgroup rec.humor on June 11, 1991.
