“What did the intergalactic cookie say to the other intergalactic cookie?”/“Beam me up biscotti.”
The Star Trek television series and movies include an engineer character named Scott (Scotty), to whom the other characters often request to “beam” them up (transport them). “Beam me up, Scotty” is a catchphrase, although it was not actually spoken in full in any Star Trek television episode or film.
“Beam me up biscotti” is an Italian food version that has been cited in print since at least 1993 and has been printed on an image. A riddle was posted on Reddit—Dad Jokes on December 28, 2017:
Q: What did the intergalactic cookie say to the other intergalactic cookie?
A: Beam me up biscotti.
Wikipedia: Biscotti
Biscotti (/bɪˈskɒti/; Italian pronunciation: [bisˈkɔtti]; English: twice-cooked), known also as cantuccini, are Italian almond biscuits (cookies) that originated in the city of Prato. They are twice-baked, oblong-shaped, dry, crunchy, and dipped in a drink, traditionally Vin Santo.
Wikipedia: Beam me up, Scotty
“Beam me up, Scotty” is a catchphrase that made its way into popular culture from the science fiction television series Star Trek. It comes from the command Captain Kirk gives his chief engineer, Montgomery “Scotty” Scott, when he needs to be transported back to the Starship Enterprise.
Though it has become irrevocably associated with the series and films, the exact phrase was never actually spoken in any Star Trek television episode or film.
Wikipedia: Scotty (Star Trek)
Montgomery Christopher Jorgensen “Scotty” Scott is a fictional character in the science fiction franchise Star Trek. First portrayed by James Doohan in the original Star Trek series, Scotty also appears in the animated Star Trek series, seven Star Trek movies, the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Relics”, and in numerous books, comics, and video games.
