“Veni, Vidi, Venti” (“I came, I saw, I ordered Starbucks coffee”)
“Veni, Vidi, Venti” (“I came, I saw, I ordered Starbucks coffee”) is a joke on the Latin “Veni, vidi, vici” (“I came, I saw, I conquered”). “Venti” is Italian for “twenty,” the 20-ounce Starbucks cup.
“Veni, Vidi, Venti” has been printed on many coffee mugs. “Veni, vidi, venti: I came, I saw, I bought the large” was cited in print in 2005.
“I came, I ate, I conquered” and “I came, I saw, I coffee’d” are related sayings. “Veni, Vidi, Visa” (“I came, I saw, I did a little shopping”) is another jocular take on the Latin phrase.
Wikipedia: Veni, vidi, vici
“Veni, vidi, vici” (Classical Latin: [ˈweːniː ˈwiːdiː ˈwiːkiː]; Ecclesiastical Latin: [ˈvɛni ˈvidi ˈvitʃi]; “I came; I saw; I conquered”) is a Latin phrase popularly attributed to Julius Caesar, who supposedly used the phrase in a letter to the Roman Senate around 46 BC after he had achieved a quick victory in his short war against Pharnaces II of Pontus at the Battle of Zela. The phrase is used to refer to a swift, conclusive victory.

Speaking of coffee (and Columbus), if you want a creative cup of coffee without all the corporate logos and piglatin cup sizes (veni, vidi, venti: I came, I saw, I bought the large), AND you’re in Columbus, Ohio—you should visit Kafe Kerouac at 2250 N. High.
