“This year went by so fast, I didn’t have time to lose weight”

“This year went by so fast, I didn’t (even) have time to lose weight” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images Not everyone has time to go to the gym or to diet, although most people can find time to avoid overeating. The saying has several minor variations.
