“The road to hell is paved with Ivy League degrees”
“The road to hell is paved with Ivy League degrees” is a saying that has been printed on many images. The usual saying is, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The saying means that an Ivy League college education, though it might be highly regarded by many, does not teach useful, practical knowledge. A fancy education gives people the illusion of being intellectuals, and their opinions are highly regarded on even things they know absolutely nothing about.
American economist Thomas Sowell said “The road to hell is paved with Ivy League degrees” on the Hoover Institute television program Uncommon Knowledge in May 2012. Sowell was referring to people like U.S. President barack Obama, who received an undergraduate degree at Columbia University and a law degree at Harvard University.

Peter Robinson: Segment 5. Our Intellectual in Chief. Barack Obama got his BA from Columbia, his JD from Harvard. He taught for a number of years at the University of Chicago Law School. May I suppose that Tom Sowell is duly impressed?
Thomas Sowell: Ha, ha, ha! You might say the road to hell is paved with Ivy League degrees.

The sweet talking over educated leftists with no life experience outside of education industry should have no say over real people. They are insulated from reality through tenure. The road to hell is paved with ivy league degrees!
