Several math puns are often added—a pun!— together into one big math joke. “I’d claim to be original but pretty much all my calculus jokes are derivative” was posted on Twitter  by Ian Malpass on May 26, 2014. “Problem with math puns? Calculus jokes are derivative, trigonometry jokes are graphic, and algebra jokes are usually formulaic” was posted on Twitter by Annette Bowman on December 28, 2015. “It’s hard to find good math jokes to tweet. Calculus jokes are derivative, algebra jokes are formulaic, and arithmetic jokes are too basic” was posted on Twitter by Dani California on March 14, 2016.

The problem with math jokes: calculus jokes are too derivative, trigonometry jokes are too graphic, algebra jokes are a bit too formulaic, and arithmetic jokes are just too basic. As for statistical jokes, maybe those are just outliers. I’ll see myself out now.
