The Big Apple reopens in Wrentham under another generation of the Morse family
By Stephen Peterson .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) Jul 13, 2025 Updated Jul 14, 2025
The Big Apple, the landmark Wrentham orchard and farm in the west end of town, has reopened after its longtime operators retired at the end of last season and there were questions about its future.

The farm that spans 200 acres off Arnold Street and has long been a popular stop for countless Attleboro area residents for not just apples in the fall but other fruit in the summer, reopened last Monday, selling pick-your-own blueberries, raspberries and apricots, new manager Nathaniel Morse said. The farmstand has also opened, and there are plans to again sell apples in the fall.

In addition to apple picking, the farm also sells pies, turnovers, caramel apples and their famous old-fashioned donuts. WBZ-TV’s Jordyn Jagolinzer reports.
