Texas Burger (with pastrami)

There are many hamburger variations that are called a “Texas burger.” A hamburger with mustard (and without ketchup) has been called a “Texas Burger.” A “Texas Burger” sometimes has chili or baked beans or bacon added.

A hamburger with pastrami is a specialty of Utah, not Texas. Some Los Angeles (CA) restaurants have dubbed a hamburger with pastrami as a “Texas burger,” but the name is far from standard, even in California.

I tried their Texas Burger which is a pastrami burger. It was one of the best pastrami burgers I’ve ever had. And it was done simply. Good bun, good sized, good quality patty, a heap of juicy pastrami, mustard and 2 big chunky deli dill pickles.
