Terrorganda (terror + propaganda)

“Terrorganda” (terror + propaganda) occurs when a government tells its citizens to prepare for an often unspecified terror threat, as the United States did in August 2013 when it closed embassies and consulates. The “terrorganda” increases the security state and decreases the liberty and freedoms of citizens.
 
“Terrorganda” was cited on Twitter on October 29, 2010. The YouTube video “Terrorganda, DEA Data, Eminent Domain - New World Next Week,” published on August 8, 2013, by the Corbett Report, further popularized the term “terrorganda.”
