Steakery (steak + eatery)
A “steakery” is an “eatery” that serves “steak.” The term “steakery” dates to at least 1932. The franchise Charley’s Grilled Subs was originally called Charley’s Steakery, reflecting its specialty of Philly cheesesteaks.
