“Speed is subsittute fo accurancy”

“Speed is subsittute fo accurancy” (“speed is a/no substitute for accuracy” intentionally misspelled) is a jocular misspelling showing that, indeed, speed is no substitute for accuracy. “Speed is n substitue fo accurancy” has been cited in print since at least 1993 and is of unknown authorship.

It’s just occurred to me that all this time spent looking for discs may have been down to a spelling error.
