“Shitposters are simply feral philosophers” is a saying that has been printed on many images. The saying is a jocular attempt to bring some dignity to internet shitposting.
“Shitposters are simply feral philosophers” was posted on X/Twitter by 雨 (and others) on April 3, 2021. According to this iFunny image, it appears that the saying was first posted by Sophia Snow on Facebook, but that post is no longer available.
“Shitposter? Oh you mean feral philosopher?” was posted on Facebook by Methamphetamemes on December 10, 2021. “Shitposter? You mean feral philosopher” (shown on a T-shirt) was posted on X/Twitter by Cornershirt Store on December 26, 2021. “Shitposter? Oh, you mean feral philosopher” (the saying is shown on an image) was posted on Bluesky by sina on July 7, 2023.
