Republicunt (Republican + cunt)
“Republicunt” (Republican + cunt) is a term for a Republican that some feel is too vulgar to print. “Mainly teh religious fanatics and Republicunts” was cited in print in 1996.
The term “Republicunt” had been frequently used on the Internet, but was popularized in an episode of HBO’s True Blood that was broadcast on July 20, 2014:
“Oh my God. I’m a Republicunt.”

WATCH: HBO’s True Blood Takes Aim at Ted Cruz, ‘Republic*nts’
by Matt Wilstein | 1:09 pm, July 21st, 2014
It turns out vampires hate Republicans almost as much as Democrats do. Last night’s episode of True Blood on HBO found two characters attending a gala to support Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) at the Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas. The way they described the people they were likely to meet at the event was, suffice it to say, less than kind.
As one character tells Alexander Skarsgård’s Eric Northman and Kristin Bauer van Straten’s Pam De Beaufort, “You’ll never get in. You’re vampires. Security’s going to be tight and they on;y invited assholes.”
“We can be assholes,” Eric replies confidently.
Dressed for the occasion in blond curls and a sequined top, Pam says later, “Oh my God. I’m a Republicunt.”

HBO’s ‘True Blood’ Mocks Ted Cruz, ‘Republic**ts’, ‘A**holes’
By Kristine Marsh | July 21, 2014 | 14:08
The Democrat party is the pro-woman party right? Well on Sunday night’s episode of HBO’s “True Blood,” the left-leaning characters inadvertently reveal their hateful attitudes towards women, all the while mocking conservatives.
In the July 20 episode, vampires Eric and Pam are looking for the parents of their enemy, who happen to be conservative. To do this, they must go incognito at a Ted Cruz fundraiser held, (where else?) at the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas. Beforehand, the vampires are warned “They only let in a**holes.”
Pam, dressed up in a sparkly evening gown and big hair while Eric wore a bolo tie and a large Stetson hat. Upon seeing her reflection, Pam muttered, horrified, “Oh my god, I’m a Republicunt.”
