Q-Head (barbecue enthusiast)

A “Q-head” is a barbecue (or “bbq” or simply “q”) enthusiast. The term “Q-head” has been cited in print since at least 1998.

Lucky guy!  I honestly beleive you can’t go wrong with Sonny’s.  Your hardcore ‘Q heads may fuss and holler, but I drove from PepsiCola to Ocala and stopped at every Sonny’s we saw from the freeway.

I was amazed that this was on an ABC news site! Isn’t standard bill of fare for the non-Q-heads just to go to your nearest Chili’s and order the Riblets?

We do a similar thing on the smoker. All the Q-heads call them ABT’s (short for Atomic Buffalo Turd, I lie not).
