Palantir
A palantír is a magical artifact from J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy legendarium. A palantír (sometimes translated as “Seeing Stone” but literally meaning “Farsighted” or “One that Sees from Afar”; cf. English television) is a crystal ball, used for both communication and as a means of seeing events in other parts of the world.
Sauron used the Palantir to communicate with Sauraman.

The SFPD could get the power to live-monitor private security cameras all over town, including residential Ring and Nest doorbells, under a contentious new surveillance policy working its way through the Board of Supervisors. https://sfist.com/2022/07/11/breed-and-new-da-jenkins-pushing-hard-to-expand-police-access-to-private-security-cameras-all-over-town/

BINGO! You nailed it right here. Beautiful.
They despise us. We are the INEFFICIENT HUMAN ENGINE. We are the enemy to them achieving their utopia.
Remember, Palantir was started by CIA/InQTel w/ the goal of tracking down “terrorists.” We are the terrorists. x.com/7SEES_/status/…

Not sure helpful focus there but let’s just say the Palantyranny (cancellable) IRS & contracts and pirated gov access into gov servers and building backdoors for Russia and tech bro buddies and dollar and making themselves our corporatist overlords in networked states is as much
