“Oversold can become more oversold” (Wall Street adage)
“Oversold can become more oversoldt” (or “oversold can stay oversold”) is a Wall Street adage. If people are still selling, then it might still be time to sell. “Oversold can easily become more oversold and overbought can easily become more overbought” was cited in print in 2002. “Oversold can get considerably more oversold and vice versa” was cited in 2007.
“Overbought can become more overbought” is a similar adage.

$$ Don’t forget that just as overbought stayed overbought on the upside, oversold can stay oversold on the downside too. Respect the trend.

The second item of note is the oversold level reached in the weekly slow stochastic readings. The stock is the most oversold it has been in over two years, but as the old saying goes, oversold can become more oversold.
